Join us on Thursday, January 29th, at New Pathways for Youth for a free, informative session on the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. Over coffee and a light breakfast, we’ll show you how a dollar-for-dollar contribution provides essential mentoring and case management for young people in our community.
We are honored to feature Brock Yates, NPFY Board Member and Principal at Baker Tilly’s Private Wealth Tax Practice. Brock will provide expert insights into how evolving tax laws may impact you, especially for high-income households and business owners, and how thoughtful planning can maximize your community impact.

The Pathway Forward: Change a Life, Change Your Own
January is National Mentoring Month, and we’re celebrating the heart of our mission: our mentors. Every teen deserves a pathway forward, and every mentor helps pave it.
“I want to be a mentor myself when I grow up,” shared Kimberly, one of our Level Up youth participants. “I hope anyone considering it takes the chance on youth like me. We need your support. We need to be seen. And we need to believe that we matter.”

Stories of Transformation Fundraising Breakfast
Experience the power of connection at our annual Stories of Transformation Breakfast on Thursday, March 5th. This inspiring morning brings our mission to life through the authentic voices of our youth and mentors.
While our youth often face complex personal and systemic obstacles, their stories are defined by their resilience, not their circumstances. At New Pathways for Youth, we believe that when life gets difficult, we don’t step back—we lean in together to ensure no young person has to walk their path alone.
We invite you to learn how our intentional curriculum, dedicated mentors, and community support ensure that our youth can live a life of joy and purpose.

Level Up Academy Graduations
We closed out 2025 with two inspiring Level Up Academy graduations: celebrating students from CSS STEM and Genesis Academy who built essential skills in goal-setting, growth mindset, and leadership. We’re so proud of these students and their mentors for all they’ve achieved!
Now, we’re looking for mentors to join one of our classrooms this spring semester. Schedule a call with our Level Up Academy Manager, Lindsay Stansfield, to learn how you can help students level up in 2025.
Rudolph’s Reindeer Games
Last month, more than 100 youth, mentors, and caregivers gathered at our homebase to celebrate the holidays as a community. Every youth went home with a holiday gift and a family food bag, ensuring wraparound support for every household.
Thanks to our partners at the Phoenix Suns | Phoenix Mercury Foundation, the day included a spirited free-throw tournament and a dance class with the Mercury Hip Hop Squad, where every participating youth earned a celebratory medal.
We’re so grateful to Downtown Phoenix Inc. for hosting a holiday drive and to our incredible Desert Financial volunteers for making this year’s “Rudolph’s Reindeer Games” one to remember.
