We’re thrilled to welcome five new members to the New Pathways for Youth Board of Directors! Each brings unique expertise, leadership, and a shared commitment to helping youth realize their full potential through mentorship.

We also extend a heartfelt congratulations to Mariela Jurado, who has been named our new Board Secretary.

Champions of Transformation Celebration
Our 2025 Champions of Transformation celebration was an unforgettable evening of community, connection, and inspiration.
We were honored to recognize Ron and Robin Hilgart as our Wendell Cook Champions of Transformation awardees and Trout Camp as our Community Champion of Transformation for their extraordinary impact and commitment to youth.

Cafecito Con Caminos: Arte y Cultura
On November 6th, our Caminos initiative hosted its latest event, Cafecito Con Caminos: Arte y Cultura, a vibrant morning of connection, community, and culture. We thank everyone who joined us to learn more about mentoring and supporting our mission of transforming the lives of youth.
The morning began with the sounds of Mariachi Rubor, delicious treats like coffee, crepes, chilaquiles, and pan dulce, and a beautiful art display from our friends at Xico. Latino mentors and community members gathered over cafecito to share inspiring stories of mentorship—like that of our Level Up mentor, Sylvana Carrete—and strengthen the network of leaders paving the way for future generations.
It was truly inspiring to see so many friends, colleagues, and new faces who all want to make a difference for young people.

Celebrating Matchiversaries
This fall brings a special celebration: the one-year match anniversaries, or “matchiversaries,” for our mentors and youth who were matched in September and November 2024!
In just one year, these pairs have forged powerful, trusting relationships. We have proudly watched our youth commit to learning new skills at our monthly Power Up sessions, turning that knowledge into concrete action. They have not only improved their grades and built stronger personal relationships but have also gained the crucial skill of setting and achieving meaningful goals.
Congratulations to every mentor and youth celebrating their “matchiversary!” We are proud to be part of your transformational journeys.
Support Our Holiday Drive and Give the gift of Joy
Join us in supporting our youth this holiday season. Our annual Holiday Celebration is set for Saturday, December 6th, where every teen will receive an essential care kit and special gifts as part of the celebration with their mentors.
