Make Your Voice Heard This Election Day
It’s Election Day! In America, we are lucky to have the right to vote once we’re 18. It’s one of the most important actions we can take to make our voices heard.
With many close elections over the years, it’s true that every vote counts. So, please make sure to exercise your right to vote this Election Day. Educate yourself about the candidates and the issues by reading their websites and trusted third parties or news sources. Platforms and positions on the issues that face our community matter, so think about who you want to represent you at the local level, in the state legislature, and in Washington DC.
This year, New Pathways for Youth supports the passage of Proposition 308 to allow students who graduate from Arizona high schools to be eligible for in-state tuition rates at Arizona colleges. These students are the future workforce for our state, and we should encourage them to continue their education right here in Arizona. For the Dreamers at New Pathways for Youth, we want to give them every opportunity to continue their education and contribute to the strength of our economy. We encourage you to vote Yes on Prop 308 to provide fair access to all Arizona students.

Our Annual Holiday Drive is Nearly Here
Every year, we look forward to organizing holiday care kits for our New Pathways youth. These care kits offer support and encouragement to the incredible youth overcoming adversity in our community. We’d love your help in making this holiday season extra special for our youth!
There are two ways to join in:

2. Put together your own care kit (1 kit = toiletries + gift card + sweatshirt).
Our recommended toiletries for the care kits are:

– Deodorant

‘Tis the Season of Transformation
This holiday season, consider gifting your time to transform the life of a young person in your community. As a mentor at New Pathways, you can help bring stability and support to youth facing three times the adversity of their peers – and form a lasting bond that can change both of your lives for the better.
Start today by attending a Mentor Intro session. Our Mentor Intro sessions are hosted on Zoom every Tuesday and Friday. You can also spread the joy of transformation by sharing the link and referring someone you know who would make a great mentor.
