Thank You, Mentors!

It’s National Mentoring Month, and we’re celebrating our incredible mentors with a gift and some special messages from our youth.

The mentors at New Pathways not only help give our youth the skills and confidence to decide their own path, but are an invaluable source of friendship and support for youth facing adversity. We can’t thank you enough for all you do for our youth and community as a whole – but we will certainly try!

Keep an eye on your mailboxes and on our social media pages for some exciting surprises in the coming month. To all of our mentors – thank you for helping to transform lives!

A Story From One of Our Youth

A youth in our program, Marcelino, recently wrote a narrative about his life, which he shared at an event at the Changing Hands Bookstore as part of his Montessori program at Camelback High School.

Read Marcelino’s full story on our website, and watch the video of his amazing speech here. Thank you, Marcelino, for sharing your story with us.

Help Us Start 2023 Off Right

As we begin 2023, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate all of the amazing matches we made in 2022.

We hosted five matching retreats in 2022 where 63 matches were made where they began their journey of transformation – joining the nearly 8,000 matches who have gone through the New Pathways program since 1989.

Thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, mentors, youth, and generous supporters for making this memorable year possible!

We’d love to continue our streak in 2023. If you’d like to help NPFY continue to match more youth with the support, stability, and skills they need to flourish, please consider making a donation today. You can receive a dollar-for-dollar Arizona charitable tax credit for the 2022 tax year when you donate through April 15th, 2023. The maximum allowable credit of $400 (for single filers) or $800 (for joint filers).
