New Year, New You?

2024 is upon us! With a brand new year ahead, we invite anyone who has been considering mentoring to make 2024 a year of transformation.

By becoming a Level Up mentor, you’ll not only transform the life of a young person in your community – you’ll transform your own. You’ll have the opportunity to help youth facing poverty and 3x the adversity of their peers find the support, stability, and skills they need to flourish – all the while, learning and growing alongside them.

Our mentors create remarkable outcomes for our youth – from improved mental health and personal wellness to academic success and greater high school graduation rates. As a Level Up mentor, you will help give teens the tools and resources to not only achieve safe, healthy lives, but find fulfilling career paths, seize new opportunities, and enhance their relationships with their families, peers, and all those around them.

And you won’t do it alone. We’ll provide you with the support you need to learn and grow alongside your youth. With the support of your fellow mentors and the entire New Pathways team, you’ll learn skills and form bonds that will last for a lifetime.

If you’d like to learn more about becoming a Level Up mentor, sign up to attend a virtual mentor introduction session to get started!

Readying Youth for College & Careers

Starting this month, we’ll be hosting monthly college and career readiness sessions for our Level Up youth. These are hour-long sessions on Saturdays at noon that take place after Power Ups and help prepare youth for success beyond high school. Each session is done in a “Lunch and Learn” style, so matches will be able to eat lunch with their mentor while learning about a different, fundamental topic on college or career readiness, such as building cover letters and resumes or choosing your major.

If you are interested in sponsoring a session, either as a financial sponsor or a session facilitator, please reach out to
