Honoring Pride Month

 

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stone Wall Uprising. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement, and as a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LBGTQIA+ people have in the world.  We invite you to plan some intentional outings centered around Pride – more information and some ideas are below.

Pride Night at the Heard Museum

Enjoy free admission to the museum from 4 to 9 p.m., and then join us in our Steele Auditorium for the entertainment beginning at 6 p.m.

Pride Night 2022 is Saturday, June 25 when the D-backs host the Detroit Tigers. The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a D-backs Pride Tee.
