At New Pathways for Youth, we are proud to recognize the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA)—once again proving to be a true champion for our mission. On June 21, ARCA brought the community together at Glenfair Lanes in Glendale for their annual family-friendly bowling tournament, showing how small businesses can make a big difference for Phoenix youth.

Every year, ARCA brings a creative, fun theme to this signature event. Last year’s tournament was inspired by aliens and extraterrestrial life, sparking plenty of smiles and nostalgia. This year, bowlers stepped back in time to embrace ’70s vibes, complete with dazzling disco ball shine lighting up the lanes and adding to the festive atmosphere. It wasn’t just a tournament—it was a celebration of community spirit, generosity, and the power of coming together for a cause.

New Pathways for Youth has been transforming lives for decades, with supporters like the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association (ARCA) contributing more than $250,000 to our mission. Each year, ARCA hosts a charity bowling tournament to raise funds for our youth and families, and this past weekend marked the 26th annual event.

What inspires us most about ARCA’s ongoing support is that it comes largely from small, family-run businesses and local contractors who serve our neighborhoods daily. These local shops and service providers show us that true impact doesn’t require a massive budget—only the intention to uplift others and the heart to take action.

ARCA reminds us that true impact doesn’t require a huge budget—just the intention to make a difference and the willingness to act.

This year’s bowling tournament not only raised essential funds for our transformative youth programs but also set a powerful example of how a united community can change lives. From the colorful costumes and joyful laughter to the friendly competition, the event captured the best of what community partnership looks like.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Tracy Wallis and Laura Schweikert,, whose tireless efforts made the event logistics seamless. We are equally thankful to our NPFY Philanthropy Team, especially Margarita Mantussova and Leslie Croy, for their steadfast dedication and support in making this collaboration such a success. And of course, a heartfelt thanks to all the mentors and youth who joined in the fun—you are the reason we do what we do.

If your company or association would like to support our mission through a fundraiser, we’re here to help you create a one-of-a-kind, memorable event that makes a lasting impact. Contact Margarita Mantussova at New Pathways for Youth today, and let’s get your impactful, fun event going!
