Youth Outcomes – Graduation/Education
Our Level Up mentorship program is research-based and proven to generate remarkable outcomes for teens. 95% of our youth graduate high school and 80% go on to continued education and training, 75% of which are of the first generation in their family to do so.
Well-Being and Mental Health
Each year, an independent research firm surveys our youth and mentors. These studies reveal that 100% of Level Up youth experience enhanced personal well-being and health, as well as a reduction in harmful thinking and behaviors.
Good Results for the Entire Family
Through our Level Up mentorship program, we support not just youth, but their families. We make sure the parents, caregivers, and families have what they need to thrive, filling in resource gaps and providing any additional support needed. In Caregivers Circle, an optional workshop for parents and guardians, we provide a space for caregivers of teens to connect with and learn from one another, as well as learn some of the curriculum their youth are learning so they can reinforce these teachings at home.
Holistic approach to mentorship
Our Level Up mentorship program is holistic. We focus on all aspects of our youth’s inner development as well as their outer environments, focusing on three key aspects: relationships, education, and employment. In addition to helping them build positive, healthy relationships, we give them the tools and opportunities to achieve academic and professional success. Furthermore, we connect them with resources like healthcare, emergency relief, and more to provide them with security and stability and ensure their basic needs are met.

Teen Programming
Level Up by NPFY is a one-of-a-kind, trauma-informed program that equips teens facing adversity with the tools, support, and confidence to decide their own path. Our powerful, research-based curriculum provides teens with personal goal-planning, a strong sense of community, and a dedicated 1:1 mentor relationship. Our impact extends even further with Level Up Academy – an 8-week version of our core program, available to students in select schools. #LevelUp
Mentor Support
Just like the youth in our program, we support Level Up mentors every step of the way. Through a combination of interactive online training and in-person classes, we make sure they are fully equipped to be a mentor before they get matched with youth and provide ongoing monthly coaching throughout their journey. Mentors also enjoy socials to connect with and learn from one another.
Career Readiness
New Pathways connects youth with opportunities to tour college campuses and job sites, gaining real-world experience through job shadowing, internships, and career readiness workshops. With the support of mentors and corporate partners, they explore various career options and build essential skills like resume writing, interviewing, and public speaking.
Program Enhancement
At New Pathways for Youth, none of the work we do to empower youth would be possible without the right infrastructure, technology, and an incredible team. To continue providing the best resources and services to our youth and their families, we’re always working on program enhancements. Thanks to our amazing donors and partners, we offer top-tier staff training, up-to-date technology for both staff and youth, and tools that keep mentors and youth connected. Together, we’re building a future where every young person can live their life with joy and purpose, confident in their ability to decide their own path.
