Teaming Up with The NBA Foundation to Empower Youth
We are proud and grateful to announce that New Pathways has received a grant from the NBA Foundation. The NBA Foundation is dedicated to driving economic opportunity for Black youth, and invests in organizations that promote school-to-career and workforce development opportunities.
This generous funding will be used to strengthen our Level Up and Level Up Academy initiatives, helping more Black youth facing adversity develop the skills and mindsets needed for success in high school and beyond.
The NBA Foundation’s support of our work underscores our shared vision of empowering young people to lead joyful, purposeful lives. Together, we are building a future where every young person has the tools and resources to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Celebrating 28 Exceptional Youth with the NPFY Scholarship Awards
We recently had the honor of celebrating 28 youth who all received scholarships from the Dew Family Foundation, Level Up Scholarship with Mountain Park Health Center, and the Level Up by New Pathways for Youth Scholarship. It’s always a tremendous honor to support our youths’ educational pursuits, and we’re so excited to see where their journeys take them next.
We celebrated these incredible scholars at a special breakfast on August 14th. We were joined by councilwoman, Laura Pastor, along with youth families, friends, and mentors.
These scholarships were made possible by the IBIS Foundation, the Dew Family Foundation, the Dougherty Foundation, and incredible donors like yourself. Read more about the scholarship celebration here.

This month, New Pathways received a four-star rating on Charity Navigator – the highest possible rating for a nonprofit – designating us as a “Give with Confidence” charity. Charity Navigator is the most-utilized independent charity evaluator in the U.S., and a trusted information source for more than 11 million donors annually.
This rating reflects New Pathways’ strong financial health, ongoing accountability and transparency, and commitment to good governance. We are so proud to say that our supporters can trust that their donations to NPFY are being effectively used to transform the lives of Phoenix youth.
