In the past year alone, NPFY provided over 14,000 hours of 1:1 mentorship, awarded $84,000 in scholarships, and launched Level Up Academy in schools across Phoenix, equipping youth with tools to lead, grow, and pursue their goals.

Caminos Kickoff Recap
Thank you to everyone who joined our Caminos Kickoff last month! With over 60% of our youth being Hispanic or Latino, we’re ensuring they have mentors who truly understand and represent them. This initiative, made in collaboration with Novle Community Activators, is dedicated to building a network of Latino mentors. Our goal is to connect young people with role models who share their cultural background and experiences, helping them succeed and thrive.

Celebrating our 2025 High School Graduates
This month, we’re celebrating 28 high school graduates! Each cap tossed in the air represents years of grit, dreams, and determination.
To help them take their next steps with confidence, we’re hosting Community Resource Fairs. Here, our graduates will find guidance, tools, and opportunities, whether their journey leads to college, advanced training, or embarking on a new career.
When we asked these young trailblazers about the moments they’re most proud of, their stories inspired us all. From being named the 2024 Student of the Year in the Phoenix Union High School District, to giving back with countless hours of volunteer work at churches and community organizations, to earning acceptance into multiple colleges, their achievements reflect both heart and hard work.
Looking to the future, our graduates have their sights set on a world of possibilities: heading off to college, serving their country in the armed forces, or launching their own businesses.
Here’s to these extraordinary young people, and to the bold, bright futures that await them. The journey is just beginning!
Level Up Academy Just Wrapped Year Two – And We’re Growing!
We’ve officially wrapped up our second year of Level Up Academy, and what a year it was! We expanded into two more schools and celebrated over 50 incredible students graduating from the program, each equipped with the tools, confidence, and life skills to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.
And now, we’re looking ahead. Mentor recruitment for the 2025–26 semester is on! Join us at Level Up Academy, a short-term way to volunteer as a mentor in one of our high school classrooms. You’ll guide students through NPFY’s proven curriculum designed to help them build confidence, set goals, and envision brighter futures.
