Welcome Scott Smith, Our New Vice President of Philanthropy

We are pleased to announce that Scott Smith will join New Pathways for Youth as the Vice President of Philanthropy. With two decades of service dedicated to uplifting communities, Scott brings a profound depth of experience and a strong commitment to advancing our mission.
A Proven Leader in Community Transformation
Scott’s professional journey reflects his dedication to empowering communities and supporting youth-serving organizations. He has held leadership roles at New Way Academy, Desert Voices Oral Learning Center, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Throughout his career, Scott has focused on building strong relationships, fostering inclusive engagement, and driving meaningful change—especially here in Phoenix, where his passion and influence run deep.
Scott has a Master of Nonprofit Leadership & Management degree from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business & Marketing from the University of Central Florida. He is also a graduate of the American Express Leadership Academy and a head coach of his son’s little league baseball team.
Leading Philanthropy at NPFY
At New Pathways for Youth, Scott will lead our philanthropy team, guiding efforts to:
- Deepen relationships with our donors.
- Expand partnerships throughout the community.
- Ensure the sustainability of our programs.
His role is vital to advancing our vision of a world where every young person has access to the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive. We are confident that Scott’s leadership will help us grow our impact and strengthen our connection to the community.
