Volunteer at AAWL

NPFY is launching their first sponsored outing per month. In August, join NPFY at the Arizona Animal Welfare League to learn about veterinary medicine and see the sweet animals at the shelter. Flash Light Nights at Desert Botanical Garden

Bring a flashlight and experience the beautiful Arizona desert after dark. There are hands-on activities, live dance and musical performances, cool treats, a farmers’ market and more. A great way to get outside and connect with your mentee! More Info

Pueblo Grande Museum and Archeological Park

Explore this archaeological site that takes you through Hohokam culture. There are three galleries that display artifacts and information on the Hohokam and village. This is a great experience for mentors and their mentees to learn something new. Get Tickets

Tour the Historical Orpheum Theatre

On August 23rd, you can tour the Crown Jewel of Downtown Phoenix with your mentee. The tour can last up to 90 minutes, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of a movie palace. This is great for movie buff matches and Arizona explorers. More Info
