Ron & Robin Hilgart to Be Celebrated as 2025 Champions of Transformation on October 2

On October 2, 2025, the New Pathways for Youth community will gather at On Jackson to celebrate those whose steady service turns possibility into progress. This year’s Wendell Cook Champion of Transformation Award goes to Ron and Robin Hilgart—two leaders whose commitment has shaped NPFY for years.

Why the Hilgarts
Robin’s service began where change is most tangible: alongside youth. As a long-time mentor in Level Up and a recent volunteer in the Academy, she’s walked with young people as they build skills, agency, and a vision for their future. Her leadership extended to governance: nine years on the Board of Directors, including a term as Board Chair, and now continued guidance on the Emeritus Council.

In both 2018 and 2019, Robin was nominated for national recognition by MENTOR. In 2019, she was honored as a Finalists in the category Impactful Philanthropy, celebrated for her leadership as Board Chair, her dedicated volunteer service, and her long-standing commitment as a mentor with NPFY.

Ron’s contributions are just as consequential. A veteran member of the Advisory Council, he has provided practical insight and reliable support year after year. His company—Collier’s Engineering—has been a long-time sponsor of NPFY, helping sustain programs that change outcomes for Phoenix youth. Just as important, Ron and Robin have opened doors, consistently connecting NPFY to their friends, colleagues, and professional networks.
