Built to Endure: Our 2025 Annual Impact Report
Phoenix, AZ — April 13, 2026.
Every so often, we’ll run into a young person we served 25 or 30 years ago — now an adult with a family, a career, a life they’ve built. And without fail, they’ll tell us what it meant to have been part of this community.
Those moments are not why we do the work. But they remind us, in the most human way possible, of what the work is truly for.
That is the spirit behind our 2025 Annual Impact Report: Built to Endure.
Over 37 years of serving the Phoenix community, New Pathways for Youth has touched the lives of young people across nearly two generations. What we’ve come to understand is that our impact isn’t just wide — it’s deep. It lives in the young people who found their footing here. It lives in their families. And it endures, long after they’ve graduated from our program, in ways we sometimes don’t even get to witness.
This year, more young people than ever were impacted through 1:1 mentorship, goal-setting, life skills, and the kind of steady, long-term relationships that create real, lasting change. Through a renewed and expanded approach to how we deliver our programming, we are reaching young people in deeper, more meaningful ways. Behind that growth are young people like Jhonathan, who once kept his goals small, and Miguel, who had stopped asking for help — both of whom found their footing through the consistent presence of a caring mentor.
None of this endures without people like you. The depth and continuity of this work — across years, across families, across generations — is only possible because our community has chosen, time and time again, to believe in it and invest in it. That is not something we take for granted.
We share this report not just to account for a year’s worth of work, but to honor the kind of community it takes to make that work last.
