NPFY Picks John Patris-Browne to Lead Philanthropy Team

Local teen-serving nonprofit New Pathways for Youth is pleased to announce John Patris-Browne as their new Director of Philanthropy.

“After a thorough and thoughtful search, it was clear that John was an excellent choice for this role,” President & CEO Karen D. Johnson, Ph.D. said of the hire. “His rich experience in youth programs and his deep involvement in the community is an excellent fit for New Pathways.”

Patris-Browne comes to New Pathways for Youth from Foundation for Senior Living, and previously spent close to a decade with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (formerly Metro Phoenix). While with Boys & Girls Clubs, he gained experience developing programming activities at multiple branches before moving into fundraising for the organization and managing a portfolio of major donors.

Patris-Browne’s association involvement and civic duties include AZ Growth Advisors, Phoenix East Rotary, Scottsdale Leadership and the Balsz Community Education Foundation.

While New Pathways for Youth has been guiding young people facing adversity in the greater Phoenix area for nearly 35 years, it is now aiming to sizably increase the number of teens served annually, thus increasing the organization’s impact on the Valley. Patris-Browne will be tasked with leading the fundraising efforts needed in order to reach this goal.
