November 12, 2025
Phoenix, AZ — November 12, 2025 — New Pathways for Youth is proud to announce it has received a $50,000 grant to support youth development through its transformational Level Up Program. This funding comes from Target and will help to advance the potential of young people across the Phoenix community.
Since 1989, New Pathways for Youth has provided one-to-one mentoring and evidence- based personal development programs that help youth overcome adversity and build the mindsets and skills necessary to thrive. The Level Up Program pairs youth ages 12–21 with trained, caring mentors who guide them through a proven, research-informed curriculum focused on goal-setting, self-discovery, and resilience.
The $50,000 grant from Target will directly support program delivery, mentor training, and youth participation — empowering young people to envision and create lives filled with purpose and possibility.
“We’re deeply grateful to Target for its support,” said Dr. Karen Johnson, President & CEO of New Pathways for Youth. “With this funding, the work of our mission continues – to break cycles of poverty and unlock new possibilities for every young person we serve.”
