New Pathways for Youth Celebrates $47,487.20 Contribution from Desert Financial’s Sharing & Caring Campaign

Phoenix, AZ, November 25, 2024 – New Pathways for Youth (NPFY) is honored to announce the receipt of $47,487.20 from Desert Financial Credit Union’s 2025 Sharing & Caring Campaign. Now in its fourth year as a nonprofit partner of this impactful employee giving initiative, NPFY has benefited from nearly $200,000 raised by Desert Financial employees to support transformative programs for Phoenix youth.

“We are incredibly grateful to Desert Financial Credit Union and Desert Financial Foundation for their unwavering commitment to our mission,” said Karen Johnson, CEO of New Pathways for Youth. “Their generosity is more than financial; it’s an investment in the futures of the youth we serve. We also deeply value the opportunity to engage with their team through initiatives like the semi-annual Lunch and Learns, which build a meaningful connection between their employees and our life-changing work.”

The campaign, championed in its early stages by NPFY board member Robin White, has continued to grow with the support of key leaders such as Carlissa Wright, Emily Joy, Laura Wallace, and Desert Financial CEO Jeff Meshey.

NPFY also extends its gratitude to SwitchThink Solutions and Desert Financial Wealth Management for their contributions to this collaborative effort, ensuring that youth in our community are equipped with the resources and mentorship they need to thrive.
