March Basketball – NPFY Style
While our youth are putting in lots of serious work at our workshops and goal planning sessions, we also like to create opportunities for our teens to let loose and have fun with games, food and connection- an equally important part of our mission.
Play and physical activity are essential for the holistic health of teens. By making time for these activities, teens can improve their overall well-being. Activity can help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. it can also improve mood and self-esteem.
Once every few months, NPFY hosts after-workshop activities centered around games, sunshine and social time with their peers. This March, in honor of the NCAA basketball tournament, we hosted a basketball themed party with pizza, H-O-R-S-E, and inflatable hoop games.
