Arizona Cardinals’ Jesse Luketa Joins New Pathways for Youth for a Gratitude Celebration
Phoenix, AZ – November 21, 2024 – New Pathways for Youth (NPFY) hosted a memorable gratitude celebration, welcoming Arizona Cardinals linebacker Jesse Luketa and several teammates to inspire local youth and mentors. The event brought together NPFY’s community for an evening of connection, fun, and learning, capped with a Thanksgiving feast provided by Chompie’s.
Luketa, joined by teammates Mack Wilson Sr., Zach Pascal, Julian Okwara and Milo Eifler, engaged with NPFY youth through games, gratitude card-making, and a lively Q&A session. Sharing their journeys to the NFL, the players offered insights on overcoming challenges, emphasizing hard work, dedication, and the importance of community.
“These kids remind us of what truly matters: perseverance and the support of people who believe in you,” said Jesse Luketa. “Being here and getting to connect with these kids has been a privilege, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity.”
The celebration highlighted NPFY’s commitment to providing enrichment opportunities that inspire youth to dream big. Events like this align with the organization’s mission to help teens facing poverty and adversity develop the emotional, academic, and life skills needed to succeed. For many of the youth, meeting their sports heroes was a powerful experience that reinforced their own potential.
