After School and Summer Program

New Pathways for Youth is located in the heart of the Garfield Community where the average per capita household income is $7,800 and the crime rate is 86% greater than the national average.  To support youth being in safe learning environments during after school and summer hours, New Pathways for Youth provides free programming to the area youth, ages 5-12.  Our after school and summer program elements include:

  • Daily homework help
  • Reading and academic support, including access to computer technology
  • Arts and crafts
  • Fitness and recreational sports activities
  • Daily nutrition including snacks, hot meals, and non-perishable food packs for the weekend
