Become a Mentor
Through 1:1 mentoring in a connected community of other mentors and youth, youth begin to develop a sense of belonging and transform their lives. Our youth need YOU to make that happen!
There are over 180,000 youth across the Valley who could use the support of a stable, caring adult in their lives. Through coaching and supporting a young person to breakthrough their self-destructive thoughts and create the future they desire, mentoring with New Pathways for Youth allows you the opportunity to be directly involved in breaking the cycle of poverty and adversity in a young person’s life. With our intentional mentor training program, which includes pre-match training, monthly training resources, and direct match support, we ensure that our mentors are confident and effective in working with our youth to transform a life. And who knows, the life you change may be your own!
Mentor Introductions are held:
- Every Tuesday at 6:15 pm
- Every Friday at Noon
- 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 7:30 am
Please note: these introductions will be held via video conference until further notice. Once you are registered, a link will be sent.
Mentors must be 21 years or older, commit to mentoring a young person for at least 1 year, and be able to secure a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
