Our 2025 Annual Impact Report Is Here
Our 2025 Annual Impact Report is officially live.
This year’s report offers a focused look at how steady mentorship, partnerships, and community support create lasting impact for youth across Phoenix. You’ll see the numbers, but more importantly, you’ll see what those numbers represent: relationships sustained, goals achieved, and young people building futures with clarity and confidence.

Welcoming Our New Board Members
We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Board of Directors with the addition of four dedicated leaders:
- Lisa Dancsok
- Streator Bates
- Joseph Hourigan
- Tom Marlowe
Each of these individuals brings a unique wealth of expertise—ranging from financial stewardship and legal strategy to deep-rooted experience in community development—and, most importantly, a shared passion for the long game of mentorship.
As we continue to grow our Level Up program and deepen our impact across Phoenix, their leadership and commitment to showing up for our youth will be instrumental in shaping our future. A Recap of Caminos: Celebración y Comunidad
On April 9th, we gathered with community leaders, partners, and supporters for our Caminos: Celebración y Comunidad to honor the first anniversary of the Caminos initiative.
Launched in 2025, Caminos is dedicated to connecting Latino youth with mentors who reflect their culture and shared experiences, ensuring every young person has a community that truly understands their journey. The evening was filled with powerful stories of impact—including a moving conversation between Victor and his mentor, Sylvana—and served as a vital call to action for more Latino professionals to step into mentorship roles.
We are incredibly grateful to our advisory committee and sponsors for building such a strong foundation this past year. Click below to learn more about Caminos and the impact of our Celebración y Comunidad.
Stronger Together: New Pathways for Youth and the Arizona Leadership Network
We are incredibly proud to celebrate our President and CEO, Dr. Karen Johnson, as one of the 48 Founding Members of the Arizona Leadership Network (ALN). This new collective brings together a diverse cross-section of civic and professional leaders dedicated to moving beyond individual achievements to focus on radical collaboration and community impact.
At New Pathways for Youth, we know that our mission is sustained by the strength of the ecosystem surrounding our youth, and Dr. Johnson’s involvement in this network ensures we remain at the forefront of cross-sector partnerships that create new opportunities for our young people to thrive.
Read our latest blog for an exclusive Q&A on how this collaborative spirit will help shape the future of our state and the next generation of leaders.

Celebrating Our 2026 Graduates
Each graduation season, we’re blown away by the growth and leadership of our graduating seniors. With many of them being the first in their families to pursue post-secondary education, we’re proud to be on this journey with them.
We’re celebrating the end of the school year with program awards, recognizing all our youth have achieved this year, followed by a Community Resource Fair.
At the Fair, our graduates will meet community partners to explore opportunities for their futures – whether through college, trade school, technical education, employment, or internships. We are also inviting our community partners and other nonprofits to provide resources for food, housing, mental health services, and healthcare.
We’re proud to see youth like Miguel, who’s already got his schedule set up at GCU, and Destiny who’s passion is pursuing nursing school. We can’t wait to see the paths they decide to take, and to continue to support them through our Young Adult Program.
