New Pathways for Youth Announces FY27 Board Officers and Committee Leaders

Phoenix, AZ | July 20, 2026 

New Pathways for Youth is proud to announce its FY27 Board Officers and Committee Leaders, a dedicated group of professionals who will help guide the organization’s governance, strategy, financial stewardship, program oversight, philanthropy, and continued impact in the year ahead. 

Leading this group are NPFY’s FY27 Executive Officers, who bring deep expertise in finance, communications, business leadership, operations, and community engagement. 

FY27 Executive Officers 

Board Chair: Adaliz Gimenez 

Adaliz Gimenez serves as VP, Commercial Banker at Bell Bank and brings nearly 20 years of experience in business banking and commercial lending, with a focus on strategic commercial relationships and financial guidance. A member of the NPFY Board since 2021, Adaliz serves on the Program Committee and brings a strong commitment to building healthier communities. As Board Chair, she will help guide the board’s leadership, governance, and strategic direction. 

Board Vice Chair: Richard Chazal

Richard Chazal serves as Director of the Industrial Division at Suntec Concrete and brings extensive experience in business leadership, management, negotiation, and operational execution. A member of the NPFY Board since 2023, Richard is beginning his service as Program Committee Chair this FY, where his practical leadership and community-minded approach will support program oversight, strategic priorities, and continued organizational growth. 

Board Treasurer: Nicholas Velasquez 

Nicholas Velasquez is a longtime community volunteer with an extensive career in the telecommunications sector. A member of the NPFY Board since 2023, Nick also serves as Finance Committee Chair and will provide strong financial oversight and stewardship in his role as Treasurer. 

Board Secretary: Mariela Jurado 

Mariela Jurado serves as Head of U.S. Communications at Sigma and is a PRSA-certified communications leader with nearly two decades of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and business leadership. A member of the NPFY Board since 2024, Mariela serves on the Program Committee and brings thoughtful governance, strong business acumen, and a clear understanding of how communications can connect organizational strategy with meaningful community impact. 

FY27 Committee Leaders 

In addition to the Executive Officers, NPFY is grateful for the board and committee leaders who will guide key areas of the organization’s work in FY27. Their leadership will support strong governance, philanthropic growth, financial stewardship, program impact, and organizational sustainability. 

  • Finance Committee Vice Chair: CJ Miller, Partner and Financial Planner, Sensible Money LLC 
  • Fund Development Committee Co-Chairs: Joshua Shade, Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager, US Bank; and Christopher Lamon, Senior Project Manager, Opus Group 
  • Governance Committee Co-Chairs: Julie Johnson, Executive Vice President, Colliers International; and Streator Bates, Attorney, Snell & Wilmer LLP 
  • Program Committee Chair: Richard Chazal, Director of the Industrial Division, Suntec Concrete 
  • Program Committee Vice Chair: Laura Wallace, Community Volunteer
