An Evening of Cultura, Connection, and Community: Caminos – Celebración y Comunidad
Phoenix, AZ — March 18, 2026
On April 9 at 5 PM, New Pathways for Youth invites you to Caminos: Celebración y Comunidad—a vibrant evening dedicated to honoring culture, celebrating community, and continuing to build pathways for the next generation.
In just one year, Caminos has grown into something powerful. What started as an intentional effort to connect Latino mentors and youth has become a space where identity is embraced, values are shared, and meaningful relationships are built. This night is about celebrating that momentum—and the people behind it.
This celebration is also the result of the dedication of the Caminos Advisory Committee, a group that has worked with great care and intention to help shape this initiative and make this event truly special. Through the collaborative leadership of Melissa Heger, Roger Albarran, Christopher Bernal, Sam Perez Diarte, Trish Schultz, Imelda Aguila, and Juliana Manzanares, this event reflects the spirit of partnership, cultural pride, and community commitment that defines Caminos.
From the moment you arrive, expect an atmosphere filled with energy, warmth, and orgullo. Guests will enjoy great music, delicious food, and a space designed for connection—where conversations flow easily and community feels close.
Throughout the evening, there will be fun and meaningful ways to support Caminos, including raffles and an exciting wine pull. Every contribution helps expand this initiative and ensures more youth have access to mentors who reflect their culture, lived experiences, and vision for the future.
More than anything, this event is about community. It’s an opportunity to connect with Latino leaders, mentors, families, and partners who are committed to creating lasting impact across Phoenix. These are the rooms where relationships are built—and where the future starts to take shape.

We are honored to welcome Adam Lopez Falk as our keynote speaker for the evening. Adam serves as Senior Community Impact Officer, Discretionary Grantmaking for the Arizona Community Foundation, where he helps guide investments that strengthen communities across the state, with a focus on arts and culture, healthcare, and community development.
A longtime champion of Latino leadership and community-driven impact, Adam has dedicated his career to expanding opportunity and building stronger, more connected communities. From leading one of the nation’s largest Latino leadership programs to advancing bold education initiatives as an elected school board member, his work reflects a deep commitment to equity, representation, and access.
